ABOUT

I hold a degree in fine arts and set design from The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I am taking a master’s degree in fine arts and theatre at the University of Agder in Norway, where I initially studied a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Theatre. In 2023, I am involved in the Theatre Mediation Program – ConnectUp! European Theatre and at the EiK – Entreprenørskapskompetanse i kunstfeltet (Entrepreneur in arts) 2023 group in Norway.

I have been working as a set designer for many years in different productions, including at the Kilden Theatre and Concert House in Kristiansand and the Norwegian Opera and Ballet in Oslo in Norway. In Brazil, I have worked for several years for one of the world’s largest TV channels, Rede Globo. I am member of Norske Scenografer, CREO, Forum for integrering og dialog Agder, Scenekunst Sør, Assitej Norway and board member and leader for Våre Stemmer arts and theatre for immigrants.

I am also a theatre facilitator and project leader for Stemmene art and theatre workshops in Kristiansand. With the Stemmene-group, I focus on creating theatre with immigrants, particularly those from minority backgrounds.
